NARAL Ends Debate Over Herman Cain's Pro-Life Credentials with Public Attack
By Duane Lester - October 27, 2011 - 0 Comments
Questions and debates still rage about Herman Cain.
Is he pro-choice?
Is he pro-life?
I just had a dust-up over this exact topic in a comment thread here.
Strangely, the end of the debate is nigh. NARAL publicly admonished
Cain for his strong pro-life, anti-abortion stances:
NARAL president Nancy Keenan has released an open letter Cain saying
she believes he is fully pro-life on abortion and condemns him for
taking such a position.
"Let's start with the things we agree on: you are 100 percent
opposed to a woman's right to choose abortion care-even in cases of
rape or incest-and have made that position clear on numerous
occasions. End of story," Keenan writes.
That's pretty cut and dry.
Any questions?

Amazing! I Wish They Had This Tech When I Set Myself on Fire
By Duane Lester - October 27, 2011 - 0 Comments
This video gave me goosebumps, but then, I have a personal history with
second degree burns:
youtube/embed/eXO_ApjKPaI?rel=0
I spent weeks getting dressings changed and silvadene cream applied and
still have a burn scar. This type of medical innovation is amazing to
me. And the best part is it was made with adult stem cells, not
embryonic.
And how did I set myself on fire? That's a long story, friend.

#OWS Cooks Protest Having to Do What They Want the Rich to Do
By Duane Lester - October 27, 2011 - 0 Comments
The cooks at the Occupy Wall Street protests have had enough of serving
really nice meals to people they consider to be freeloaders. They know
there are homeless people and ex-cons who are simply posing as
protestors so they can get some free food and don't think they should
have to work hour upon hour to feed a bunch of people who they don't
feel deserve it.
Today, they protested the situation:
For three days beginning tomorrow, the cooks will serve only brown
rice and other spartan grub instead of the usual menu of organic
chicken and vegetables, spaghetti bolognese, and roasted beet and
sheep's-milk-cheese salad.
They will also provide directions to local soup kitchens for the
vagrants, criminals and other freeloaders who have been descending
on Zuccotti Park in increasing numbers every day.
The irony here is almost too much.
Here are a bunch of people protesting the richest one percent because
they have money, or power or something. The popular belief is their
property should be reallocated or redistributed through higher taxes
for the common good.
See, they should have to surrender or sacrifice so that those who need
can have, regardless.
But when placed in a similar situation, that being to slave over a food
prep station and prepare food for those who have not earned to, or by
their decree, are not worthy of it, they protest.
Think about this for a minute.
Less than 1 percent of the Occupy Wall Street movement controls a
majority of the food. But when demands are made on them to work for the
common good and sacrifice their time to feed those with less, they
balk.
Why? They didn't buy that food. They're not out any money they earned.
All they have to do is spend the time prepping it.
How hypocritical is it to demand others surrender what they have earned
or created but refuse to make a sandwich for a homeless guy?
This is how socialism works, kids. You don't get to pick your lot.
You're a sandwich artist. It's what you do. Now stop your complaining
and grab the mayo. The next guy in line wants a Cold Cut Combo on whole
wheat.

Herman Cain Leads Fox News Poll
By Duane Lester - October 27, 2011 - 1 Comment
The Cain Train doesn't seem to be derailed. While some were expecting
his rise to be temporary, his poll numbers seems to be steady or
rising.
The message is reaching the people.
"Herman Cain's solutions and ideas are not just for one segment of
America but for the benefit of all Americans. Herman's message of
inclusion and his straight forward problem solving approach are
attracting many supporters," said Mark Block, Chief Operating Officer
for Friends of Herman Cain.
The Fox News poll has Cain leading Romney by four points:
foxnewspoll-
If he wants to keep or expand that lead, he could do worse than to
follow the advice Jimmie Bise offered up in an open letter on his blog:
I know you are a smart man, but you don't look smart when you get
sandbagged by a question the average blogger could have answered at
least moderately well. Your poll numbers are still very good, even
after a debate performance that should have sunk you, but they won't
stay that way if you have another week like this week. This is where
your inner circle can help you immensely. Just spend some time
during the day in conversation with them about the news. You don't
have to drill deeply into the issues; table talk along will help
give you the basic information you need. Put some of the topics for
upcoming interviews on the table and kick them around over dinner.
Those talks will help you more than you think, and they'll help you
relax a bit, too.
Sound advice.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz Takes Big Sis To the Woodshed Over Fast & Furious (Video)
By Duane Lester - October 26, 2011 - 0 Comments
Congressman Jason Chaffetz pulled no punches in his questioning of
Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano regarding her knowledge
of Operation Fast and Furious:
youtube/embed/CAZOa0n_Gzk?rel=0
Incompetent comes to mind.
The border is more secure than ever? Are you kidding me? There are
sections of Arizona that are controlled by drug cartels! How can you
honestly say it's more secure than ever when drug gangs are occupying
American territory?
How can it be more secure when our own government is telling us
sections of America aren't safe because of illegal activity?
And Chaffetz is 100% correct when he says its unacceptable that
Napolitano hasn't spoken with Holder about Fast and Furious. It's not
only unacceptable, it's unbelievable.
When you remove the mismanagement of the economy and the enormous
deficit spending, this administration is still one of the largest
collections of miserable failures in this countries history.

Oakland PD Receives Ultimatum, Possible Stitches in Side From Uncontrollable
Laughter (Video)

From the lovely Tabitha Hale at Freedom Works comes this disturbing new
video. Targeting the Oakland Police Department, a young man in a
headset microphone has issued an ultimatum: stop doing your job or I
swear, I will come out of my parents basement and arrest all of you.
I'm super cereal.

I'm sure the Oakland PD have seen this and are currently rethinking
their whole strategy.

Occupy Dallas Blames 14 Year Old Victim For Her Rape
By Duane Lester - October 25, 2011 - 1 Comment
A 14 year old girl is reported to have been raped at the Occupy Dallas
rally, but the protesters claim the runaway told them she was 19.
That's right. The brain children of the left are blaming the victim:
Dallas Police continue to investigate whether a teenage runaway was
sexually assaulted by an adult male at the Occupy Dallas encampment
behind City Hall.
A source within the Dallas Police Department who spoke on condition
of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation said the girl ran
away from home in Garland last month and that she is now refusing to
cooperate with investigators. She initially told officers that she
had sex with a man in his early twenties and had engaged in sexual
activity with several other people.
Some members of the group told CBS 11 the girl identified herself as
a 19-year-old and never knew she was 14.
Could a 14 year old pass herself off as a 19 year old?
I doubt it. Maybe I worked with sex offenders too long, but there's a
part of me that thinks Mr. Twentysomething knew something was off, but
went and did the deed anyway.
And so did other folks.
I'm not taking their words as gospel.
Especially after the way they did their best to denigrate her in the
press:
mrctv/embed/106840
Furthermore, someone needs to start looking at this girl's background
if she's out on the streets at 14 having sex with anyone who'll have
her. Someone has damaged this girl in her past.
Where is the empathy from this liberal group? They're too busy covering
their own hind ends to care about her.

Former USSR Resident Clobbers #OWS Socialists With a Brickbat, Reality
By Duane Lester - October 25, 2011 - 0 Comments
A former resident of USSR took his video camera and went down to Occupy
Wall Street to see what he could see.
He found these two socialists who put on a epic level display of
stupidity, followed by his pummeling them with a brickbat:

The people in North Korea, in this woman's mind, are better off than
the people of South Korea.
That's why so many South Koreans are trying desperately to escape the
country. Oh wait. Strike that. Reverse it. North Koreans are trying to
escape.
Here's a great example of the differences between North and South
Korea:
koreabynight-
The top country is North Korea. The lone speck of light is the capital,
Pyongyang.
This graphic doesn't only reflect the disparity of light between the
two countries. You can apply it to anything.
This is the difference between capitalism and socialism or communism.
One creates prosperity, the other creates mass graves.

Two Teacher's Union Lobbyists Sub One day, Qualify for State Pension of Over
$100,000/Year
By Duane Lester - October 25, 2011 - 1 Comment
Two Illinois union workers have pulled a huge scam on the people in the
Land of Lincoln. After teaching, nay substitute teaching, for a day,
they have qualified themselves for a state pension worth over $100,000
a year...for the rest of their lives:
Two lobbyists with no prior teaching experience were allowed to
count their years as union employees toward a state teacher pension
once they served a single day of subbing in 2007, a Tribune/WGN-TV
investigation has found.
Steven Preckwinkle, the political director for the Illinois
Federation of Teachers, and fellow union lobbyist David Piccioli
were the only people who took advantage of a small window opened by
lawmakers a few months earlier.
The legislation enabled union officials to get into the state
teachers pension fund and count their previous years as union
employees after quickly obtaining teaching certificates and working
in a classroom. They just had to do it before the bill was signed
into law.
Preckwinkle's one day of subbing qualified him to become a
participant in the state teachers pension fund, allowing him to pick
up 16 years of previous union work and nearly five more years since
he joined. He's 59, and at age 60 he'll be eligible for a state
pension based on the four-highest consecutive years of his last 10
years of work.
His paycheck fluctuates as a union lobbyist, but pension records
show his earnings in the last school year were at least $245,000.
Based on his salary history so far, he could earn a pension of about
$108,000 a year, more than double what the average teacher receives.
He was paid $93 dollars to sub. According to the article, both men will
receive over one million dollars over their lieftimes "from a state
pension fund that has less than half of the assets it needs to cover
promises made to tens of thousands of public school teachers."
So, while it might not have the funds for actual teachers in the union,
it will still be paying these two gems a hundred grand a year for one
day of subbing.
The union was righteously outraged. They responded with a, "Meh."
A spokesman for the Illinois Federation of Teachers emphasized that
the lobbyists' actions were legal and that they made "individual
decisions."
Even so, union President Dan Montgomery said the deal Preckwinkle
and Piccioli landed "should never be allowed again." But the union,
which provides its employees with a private 401(k)-type plan, is
standing by the lobbyists' right to have access to the public
pension.
"They entered TRS under the law and are participating members of
TRS. As a TRS employer, the IFT is required to make the payments to
TRS," the union said in a statement.
Meanwhile, teachers in Illinois keep paying union dues and keep slaving
away in classrooms that are dangerous.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
